Father’s Day is almost here, which means America is once again asking the hard question:
How many pairs of socks does one man actually need?
And listen, we love dads. We love their lawn opinions, their questionable grilling confidence, their ability to fall asleep in a recliner during a movie they picked, and their deep emotional attachment to a 17-year-old tape measure.
But this year, maybe we don’t buy Dad another tie he won’t wear or socks he’ll immediately lose in the dryer portal.
Maybe this year, we make him something.
A custom engraved tool box.
A personalized cutting board.
A sign for his shop, garage, grill zone, man cave, or “don’t touch my thermostat” headquarters.
A gift that says, “We know you. We love you. We also know you already have enough socks to outfit a small soccer team.”
Handcrafted gifts hit different because they feel personal. They tell a story. They make Dad do that little emotional cough where he pretends he just swallowed wrong.
And honestly? That’s the goal.
So this Father’s Day, give him something made with heart, humor, and maybe his name burned into it so nobody in the house can “borrow” it permanently.
Because Dad deserves better than a last-minute tie.
Unless it’s a laser-engraved wooden tie.
Okay, actually… now we’re thinking.
